Trump lawyer Alina Habba says prison won't stop his campaign

“We have seen in our justice system a level of corruption that this country has, quite frankly, never seen before. It's very real. It's not overbearing in any way. It is 100% a problem that this country is going to have to address and get a solution to.” continue in November,” Habba said during an interview with the BBC Laura Kuenssbergper Mediaite. “Donald Trump is the victim of political selective persecution.”

“He wants to run for president. Nothing will change that,” she reiterated when Kuenssberg asked whether he would “run for president from a prison cell” if he were ultimately sentenced to prison.

“Once again I recommend that you find the latest polls in this country of the people who live in this country. The people who need him in this country. Because honestly, it's more important than what anyone else thinks. Our people speak loudly. 'We donate. They are small donors, and they stand up because they are afraid, because this cannot happen to us.”
