The real Martha from Baby reindeer has filed an explosive lawsuit against Netflix, claiming the streaming site defamed her by portraying her as an obsessed stalker — and she wants more than $50 million, RadarOnline.com has learned!
After threatening to take legal action, Fiona Harvey pulled the trigger on Thursday and filed suit.
In the documents obtained by TMZHarvey negated many of Martha's actions in the limited series, especially through the constant pursuit of the main character it played Richard Gadd.

Harvey accused Netflix of creating a road map so viewers of the show could track her down. She said the streaming site included phrases she said to Gadd in real life and on her social media pages and similar descriptions of her career (as a lawyer), claiming there was an attempt to hide her identity from the public.
Harvey claimed that since the series ended, she has been harassed by people around the world because of the way she was portrayed. She accused the streaming giant of destroying her reputation with false and defamatory accusations. Harvey insists that she has never stalked or assaulted Gadd and that she is not a convicted stalker – which she claimed viewers all think is factual, based on the character.
Harvey accused Netflix of not carefully investigating the story, and she believes the streaming site should pay for it. She is suing for alleged defamation, negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress, right of publicity violations and more.
She doesn't ask for even a little bit of change either. Harvey is seeking damages in excess of $50 million.
