Simon Guobadia accuses Porsche Williams of trying to ruin his reputation and he has a “threatening text” that he claims proves just that. In documents obtained by RadarOnline.comSimon added a private text, he said The Real Housewives of Atlanta star reportedly sent him a public post that she wrote with the aim of “exposing him to public hatred, contempt and ridicule.”
As this outlet reported, Porsha filed for divorce from Simon in February after just 15 months of marriage. The exes are at war over the prenuptial agreement dated just days before their November 2022 wedding. the marital home which he bought before they walked down the aisle. While Porsha has demanded that the prenup be enforced, Simon has argued the opposite, citing her financial circumstances have changed since they signed the legal paperwork.
The text message was included in the latest filing Thursday to show Simon's argument that he has “suffered and will continue to suffer harm” at the hands of his ex.
Simon claimed that Porsha sent him a “threatening text” on March 11 at 10:17 p.m.
“Listen, I suggest you stop spreading lies about me. I stand by your truth, but it won't last long if you keep lying,” he said in the alleged message from his estranged wife.
He also accused Porsha of “publicly posting her threat” on social media on the same day. “If you keep telling your lies…I'm going to speak my truth!” she warned in one cryptic message.
Simon also cited her accusations that he “fled to Dubai” during their divorce as another example of how she allegedly damaged his reputation.
“The wife's statements are false and malicious slander against the husband, which she has expressed in print and writing, damaging the husband's reputation and exposing him to public hatred, contempt and ridicule,” the legal documents say.
“As a direct and proximate result of the woman's statements, the man has suffered and will continue to suffer harm,” Simon charged, arguing he is “entitled to damages.”
Simon also argued that their prenuptial agreement is unenforceable because the circumstances surrounding Porsha's finances have changed since they became husband and wife, including her return to RHOA.
He charged that it is “completely unfair and shocking” for Porsha to fight for his $7 million “pre-martial home, collect a significant portion of the home's equity and receive an exorbitant financial payout from the man under the terms of the prenuptial agreement, when the negotiated terms meant that the woman would no longer work (i.e., the woman left her job on Dish Nation and The Real Housewives of Atlanta), but now the woman is making millions.
Simon isn't just fighting their prenup and keeping his mansion. He also informed the court that he is “entitled to damages” against Porsha “for her defamatory actions” – aka the text and public post.
Simon requests that the amount of compensation owed to him be proven at trial.
