Legendary boxer Mike Tyson, 57, suffered a medical emergency on Sunday on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles ahead of his fight with Jake Paul.
Mike Tyson and YouTuber boxer Jake Paul, 27, will do battle July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
“Mike had a medical emergency on the plane and paramedics boarded,” the source said Weekly contact. “Before the paramedics arrived, the flight issued an announcement requesting a doctor – the message even appeared on everyone's screen.”
Mike Tyson's representative told the New York Post that the boxer was suffering from a flare-up of a stomach ulcer.
“Fortunately, Mr. Tyson is doing well,” Tyson's representatives said The New York Post. “He became nauseous and dizzy due to a flare-up of a stomach ulcer 30 minutes before landing. He is grateful for the medical staff who were there to help him.”
Jake Paul and Mike Tyson faced off earlier this month.
