Jonasson said yes fired by Diesel's sister after the incident. She believed this was due to her not agreeing to the actor's sexual requests.
“For years, Ms. Jonasson remained silent, afraid to speak out against one of the most profitable actors in the world, fearing she would be excluded from an industry that had a pattern of protecting powerful men and silencing survivors of sexual harassment and assault, and concerned that issuing a green card could jeopardize her potential future citizenship,” the lawsuit said.

As we first reported, Diesel's lawyer argued in his official response to the lawsuit that Jonasson consented to the actions she is now complaining about.
“Defendant has been advised and believes, and alleges on that basis, that the complaint, and any claim contained therein, is barred by plaintiff's consent,” the filing states.
Regarding her dismissal, Diesel claimed that all actions were “taken in good faith for legitimate, non-discriminatory purposes.”
