“We were close. He hugged me and told me he loved me,” Marston said of his father. “But my opinion is that he wasn't close or affectionate to most people. I lived next door. I came to visit. I played Backgammon every Sunday. There was a wall between him and everyone else, including me.”

But in his final months, things changed. “We were playing, and my dad didn't know what moves to make,” Marston remembers. 'He knew Backgammon better than his ABCs. In my opinion he was compromised. If he didn't know where he was or what game he was playing, why did he change his will?'

“The Mansion became a lot emptier – it was sad,” he said. “People who used to visit didn't come to visit. He didn't go down the stairs. It was a different atmosphere. He started taking pain medication because of his bad back. There was no restriction on the amount of medication he could take. He was incoherent.”
