Meanwhile in the Democratic hellhole of Los Angeles…

General Hospital soap actor Johnny Wactor, 37, was shot during a robbery Saturday morning in downtown Los Angeles.

According to reports, Johnny Wactor interrupted three thieves who tried to steal the catalytic converter from his car. Wactor's mother Scarlett told TMZ that her son didn't try to fight the thieves because he initially thought his car was being towed, but they fatally shot him anyway.

The three perpetrators fled in a car.

Johnny Wactor was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

TMZ reported:

Johnny Wactor — an actor best known for appearing in nearly 200 episodes of “General Hospital” — has died, TMZ has learned.

Wactor was shot dead early Saturday morning in downtown Los Angeles, his mother Scarlett told TMZ. She says Johnny was with a co-worker when they saw three men tampering with Johnny's car. Although authorities have not released his name, this matches the description of an incident in which three suspects attempted to steal a catalytic converter.

Scarlett says she was told Johnny didn't try to fight or stop them… but the men shot him anyway before leaving. According to police records, paramedics rushed to the scene just after 3 a.m. PT. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police have not provided a description of the suspects… but Johnny's mother says she hopes they will be found soon.
