Elon Musk welcomes third child with Neuralink CEO. Here you can see how many children he has now.

Elon Musk had a third child with an executive at Neuralink, his brain implant company. Musk and Neuralink Corp. director of special projects Shivon Zilis welcomed the baby earlier this year, Bloomberg News reported.

Neuralink did not immediately respond to a request for comment. In an interview with the New York Post, Musk says confirmed the birth of his third child with Zilis, but did not reveal the child's name or gender.

Musk told the Post that the birth of his newest child was not being kept a secret. “As for 'conceived in secret', that is also incorrect,” he told the publication. “All our friends and family know. Not issuing a press release, which would be bizarre, does not mean 'secret'.”

Musk and Zilis are already parents twins born in 2021shortly before the birth of Musk's second child with musician Grimes, a little girl called Exa Dark Sideræl Musk. Tweet from 2022 that a decline in births is “by far the greatest danger facing civilization” – and he adds that he is “doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis.”

“Many countries are already well below the replacement rate, and the trend is that that will be the case in almost all countries,” Musk told the Post. “This is just a fact, not a 'debunked theory'.”

The world population has grown from 1 billion around 1900 to about 8 billion today, and continues to do so projected will reach 9 billion people by 2045. However, birth rates in some developed countries ranging from South Korea to the US have fallen in recent decades – below the replacement rate, or the level at which a population replaces itself from one generation to the next. next, which is in general certain as 2.1 children per woman.

Declining birth rates in developed countries were recent under the flag of the OECD as this poses serious economic and social challenges, such as placing more financial pressure on government services and pensions such as social security. Adults are having fewer children for a number of reasons, including a lack of affordable housing for families and the difficulties of managing both a career and a family, according to the OECD.
