Let your creativity run wild!
Want to win awesome prizes? Want to help young people around the world gain new insights into what they’re learning in school? Want to help in the very honorable effort to end ignorance, one video at a time? NextVista.org wants you!
How does the contest work? Put some creativity into a video that teaches a concept you would encounter in elementary, middle, or high school, and keep it to 90 seconds or less. It could be about sculpture, negative numbers, supply and demand, alternative energy, adverbs, or anything else you have a clever insight into. Read the full rules, and if you click in the right place, you can get some hints.
This is actually three contests: one for students, one for teachers, and one for collaborations between the two (such as when students plan and/or act and the teacher edits). These will be judged separately and we will award prizes to the finalists and winners of each.
Deadline
Each video and its associated entry form(s) must be submitted no later than Friday, December 6, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. There will be a small bonus on the score for videos submitted no later than Friday, November 8, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.
The prices
Certificates! Amazon cards! International glory! This last bit is a bit abstract, but hopefully valuable to you. 8^)
Regulations
Simple. You can't be a finalist if you don't follow ALL the rules. Click here for details.
Sample videos, encouragement and some fine print
Here you will find the videos of the finalists from students, teachers and collaborations from previous competitions.
Be creative, make your video carefully and submit it. Hopefully you will not only teach others, but also win a prize!

This individual grants Next Vista for Learning the right to post and use the video to promote the organization's efforts, including posting it on the Next Vista YouTube channel. If an individual who creates and/or submits a video to NextVista.org wishes to have it removed from the library, they should write to Next Vista for Learning and specifically request that specific videos they have submitted be removed. All requests will be honored within four weeks.
