Corrupt prosecutor Andrew Weissmann blasted Judge Juan Merchan on Wednesday as the jury deliberated in the trial of President Trump.
Remember, Andrew Weissmann was Robert Mueller's “pit bull” during the Russian collusion inquisition. Weissmann was unable to take down Trump during the more than two-year Russia hoax, so he's been chewing it out ever since.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged Trump in April 2023 with 34 crimes related to “hush payments” he made to Stormy Daniels.
Trump was accused of paying porn star Stormy Daniels, aka Stephanie Clifford, “hush payments” through his then-lawyer Michael Cohen in a scheme to silence her and prevent the story of their alleged affair from being published in the National Enquirer published.
The jury deliberations began on Wednesday after Judge Merchan ordered them to choose from three predicate crimes that Trump is alleged to have committed.
Judge Merchan allows the jurors to choose ONE of the three predicate crimes. Jurors do NOT have to agree unanimously on which of the three basic crimes Trump committed.
Trump DOJ official Jeffrey Clark said mixing and matching crimes violates every principle of the Due Process Clause.
Weissmann celebrated the legal process against Trump and said he has a “man crush” on Judge Merchan.
“As for Judge Merchan, I am in love with him like a man,” Weissmann said.
Miserable.
